Upbeat | Mixing Original Songs and Blues Music
KMH Blues was a Calgary based band which played a mix of upbeat original music and Blues songs
The project wrapped up after a 12-month run at City Pub here in Calgary with the ‘Sunday Blues Series’ which ran every 2nd Sunday between 4-7 PM
The show included 2 sets from the band, and featured a musical ‘Special Guest’ during the 2nd set to add to the entertainment experience!
This project featured Kris Hanson (Guitar, Vocals), Ron Murias (Drums), Bill Ladick (Bass Guitar) and Karen Heaton (Saxophone) as well as Remo Trotta (Drums) and Brian McCullough (Keys) helping out along the way!
After performing around 26 or so shows – the band wishes to thank all of our fans and supporters!!
The project will return at a future date with a new name and website using simply ‘Kris Hanson Band’ to better reflect the music mix consisting of Kris’ original tunes from his SOCAN catalogue and tunes from other artists / cover tunes!
So stay tuned as Kris produces the next chapter in his music journey along with music friends!
